We are delighted to announce that Dr. Robert Kester has joined Veriten as Partner, Technology & Innovation. Robert most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer for Emissions Solutions within Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) and was with Honeywell for 5 years before leaving to join Veriten.
Previously, Robert was the CEO and Co-Founder of Rebellion Photonics, a technology company providing hyperspectral gas imaging solutions for the oil & gas industry, which was acquired by Honeywell in 2019. Robert is an inventor of Rebellion’s novel snapshot hyperspectral imaging technology and has 25 patents and 26+ pending.
Robert has won numerous awards including Wall Street Journal’s Startup of the Year and an R&D 100. He holds a B.S. in Laser Optical Engineering Technology from Oregon Tech, a M.Sc. in Optical Sciences from the College of Optical Sciences, University of Arizona, and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Rice University.
We are thrilled to welcome Robert to the Veriten team and are confident that his technical expertise and skills will make a big contribution to Veriten’s partner and investor community. He will range over every aspect of what we do, with the “use case” for AI in energy high on the 2025 priority list.
