Veriten is thrilled to welcome John Sommers to Veriten as Partner, Investments, to spearhead our investing activities in the NexTen Fund and develop a broader, strategically focused investment platform.
John brings extensive experience in identifying and capitalizing on blue-chip investment opportunities within the energy sector. Most recently, he served as Principal at Cockrell Investments, a Houston-based family-owned investment firm, where he managed investments across diverse asset classes, including private equity, venture capital, and oil & gas. Prior to that, John refined his investing acumen at Quantum Energy Partners and a Quantum-backed portfolio company, Sentinel Peak Resources.
