Brett Rampal
Director, Nuclear and Power Strategy
Brett Rampal is a nuclear energy and power generation expert. He most recently led Clean Air Task Force’s (CATF) efforts to help shape nuclear energy policy advocacy, research, and development both internally and at numerous levels of the government. Prior to CATF, as a fuel engineer at NuScale, Brett supported the certification application for a “first of its kind” small modular nuclear reactor. Previously, at Westinghouse, Brett held numerous roles including lead core designer and engineering project manager for the Millstone, North Anna and Surry nuclear power stations. In addition to his role at Veriten, Brett provides consulting services for organizations including the American Nuclear Society. Brett holds a bachelor’s and a Master of Sciences degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida.
Brett joined Veriten with a desire to bring nuclear energy expertise to a new audience and help educate. Outside of the office, Brett is an avid DIYer and enjoys playing recreational sand volleyball as well as any outdoor activity.
