Marc Davidson is a former technology & operations executive with more than 30 years’ experience leading industrial R&D, manufacturing and supply chain functions. Most recently, he served as Sr. Technology Director for Halliburton, where he led technology development and commercialization for five of the company’s 12 business lines. Prior to Halliburton, Marc was responsible for technology and operations for Sandvik AB’s super-hard materials subsidiary and served as CTO for that materials business while privately held and as part of General Electric (GE). Earlier in his career, Marc led thermoplastics process R&D for GE and conducted petroleum refining and petrochemicals R&D for Amoco Corporation. He earned his B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and his M.S. in Chemical Engineering Practice and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from M.I.T.
In addition to his work with Veriten, Marc is involved in STEM career advocacy and mentoring start-up companies. He enjoys cycling, international cuisine, and jazz music.
